is there a way to view rtmp stream in javafx media player?

currently, javafx media player does not support rtmp streaming it seems, what is is the best way to view a rtmp stream in a javafx application

or is there a way to view rtmp stream in javafx media player?

The answer to this is one step further than that of a guy who was asking about red5client.

If you consider the flash player as a client, it has various codecs and can hence encode a stream and decode it. Rendering a stream on a surface is the last Step. Handshaking with rtmp server is the first Step.

I haven't used java fx but i can see it offers interesting media support. May be i have to try it sometimes. The simplest was i see is to use one of the protocols ot supports:

FILE
HTTP
JAR
HLS

Your best choiCE would be HLS and red5pro or red5 os with custom plugin or something (community).
